The Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc. will have their 8th Annual Empowering Future Leaders Scholarship Breakfast for the 2019-2020 academic year on June 13, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harborside Hotel, 6400 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
The Words of Encouragement will be by Mr. Ronald Blakley Former Associate Director White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Mistress of Ceremony will be Ms. Ebony N. McMorris National News Correspondent for Reach Media Radio One.
The Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc. will award scholarships to students in the Prince George's County, Maryland District 8 area. The students who have been awarded this scholarship had to reside in Prince George's County, Maryland District 8 (Camp Springs, Clinton, Forest Heights, Fort Washington, Glassmanor, Marlow Heights, Oxon Hill), provide an official transcript, write a one page essay and provide other documentation as listed on the application, etc. Over the past 8 years The Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc. has given over $150,000.00 in scholarships to students, making a tremendous difference in the lives of the youth in Prince George’s County.
